I decided to give the old website a makeover. Similar design but built on WordPress, which means it’s fully responsive and should work fine on all mobile devices. The old HTML site done us proud over the years but I always felt that because it wasn’t responsive, it lacked the flare that other sites gave. I didn’t think I’d be able to get it the way I wanted it, using WordPress but I got lucky using code and a bit of Kung Fu.

There’s quite a few tweaks here and there that I think make it better. One big difference is, the colour theme is now ‘bluer’, gone is the harsh ‘cyan’ colour. There are a few other simple tweaks that make the cherry worthwhile sitting on the top.

The downside? Well, there’s always going to be a caveat using WordPress. An HTML site will always be blistering fast (like the old site was). WordPress sites on the other hand have the classic proverbial kick in the ‘nads’ where speed/performance is concerned,mainly in the rendering of the pages but overall it’s not that bad. I suppose we gotta keep up with the Joneses, so we have to go with the current technology.

Anyhow, here it is, hope you like the upgrade and that it makes things a little easier.

28th Mar 2021 : New Mobile App

We now have a Mobile App, so you can listen to you favourite Dnb Station on the move. Unfortunately it’s Android only at the moment, we will look into an Apple version in the coming future.

3rd Dec 2020 : Sorry guys, another Server Change:

Our current DnB Audio Stream has had to move to a larger Stream Server. Therefore we had to move with it. It’s the same company but now on a bigger server.

The current (antares) Server will be switched off on 10th Dec 2020. The new larger server (polaris) is already up and running, as of today, Thursday 3rd Dec 2020.

This move has obviously buggered up all of our stream server settings (details), as does any move. So please can you update your players and devices again, to the new settings. The only real change to the stream settings is the server’s stream Web Address (URL). It’s gone from antares to polaris.

Apologies for this, it’s proper annoying for all of us. Hopefully this will be it for a long while.

11th Nov 2020 : Big Update On The Tracklistings

Tracklistings for Arythmatik and the man from del monte have had a major update. Some of the mixes have been playing without the listings but all mixes now have a Tracklist associated with them. Current mixes/tracklistings is now 249.

11th Nov 2020 : DnB Liquified on Alexa and Tuner Radio

DnB Liquified can now be listened to on the Tuner Radio App. On your Amazon devices Enable (install) My Tuner Radio App. Use the command “Alexa, enable My Tuner Radio”. From then on just say “Alexa, open My Tuner Radio and play DNB Liquified. Please note you may have to stress on the D, N, B as proper separate letters.

8th Nov 2020 : NEW Stream Server

We have just updated our Stream Server to, hopefully, a better one similar to the problem free server we had a long time ago. The audio is now at 192kbs. Sorry for the issues we had with the previous Server, it wasn’t really top dollar, so we dumped it. Hopefully this new one will get the ball rolling again and give you the best at what we do.

Drum ‘n’ Bass is a genre of English electronic music also known originally as Hardcore or Jungle. The “first or its kind genre” emerged in England in the early 1990s. The genre is characterized by fast break-beats typically between 150–180 beats per minute. with heavy bass and sub-bass lines. The “bass line” is usually created with sampled sources or synthesizers.

Drum’n’Bass sub-genres include drum-step, break-core, ragga jungle, hardcore, dark-step, ambient drum and bass, and more importantly liquid funk and Intelligent drum and bass. Despite its roots in the UK, the style has more recently established itself around the world. Drum and bass has influenced many other genres like hip hop, dub-step, house music, trip hop and ambient music. Drum and bass is dominated by a small group of “hardcore” record labels.

DnB Liquified will have streams of the best single tracks and pure (recorded) mixes by DJs, who are passionate about DnB. If it rolls and rinses then you know you’re at the right place. Along with that we will have random LIVE! mixes by some of our favourite DnB DJs.
